Ethiopia COE 17 – Bekele Ado Tero エチオピア – ベケレアドテロ お待たせしました。2020年6月25日に初めて開催されましたエチオピア カップオブエクセレンス（COE）のお豆Ethiopia Bekele Ado Teroを入荷しました。 生産者のAto Bekele Ado Teroは、93歳で今年のCOEの最年長の参加者です。

彼は若年の頃、Gedeoゾーン、Gedeb woreda、Worka Cherdesa kebele、SNNPRで コーヒー栽培を始めました。3.31ヘクタールの土地で、毎年8,000キログラムのクルム種のコーヒーを生産し、地元のトレーダーやエクスポーターに販売しています。 ベケレのコーヒーは87.86点で17位にランクされました。

「私はとても幸せです。そしてとても勇気づけられました。私のコーヒーが国際的に認められ、オークションを通じて良い価格で売ることができ、より良いコーヒーの生産のために投資できると思う」と彼はコメントしています。 93歳にしてまだまだもっと美味しいコーヒーを作りたいと語る、ベケレさんのコーヒー への情熱にとても感銘を受けました。私たちはこれからも、この様な生産者の方を品評会などを通じて応援し、皆様に美味しいコーヒーをお届けしたいと思います。

Ato Bekele Ado Tero is 93 years old, the oldest participant in this year’s COE. He started coffee farming as a young man in Gedeo zone, Gedeb woreda,Worka Cherdesa kebele, SNNPR. He produces 8,000 kilograms of coffee Kurum variety each year on his 3.31 hectares of land, and sells to local traders and exporters.
