オーナー文元が今年3月に訪問したKalithea農園のゲイシャ種が今年も登場です。
アプリコットのような瑞々しい酸と、ゲイシャ種特有の華やかな香りが余韻として続きます。

Kallithea, meaning “beautiful view from the mountain” in Greek, is a farm located in the Volcano highlands at the foot of the Baru Volcano. Surrounded by tropical forests filled with lemon and other citrus trees, the farm cultivates Geisha, Pacamara, and Caturra varieties.
Since winning the Traditional Washed category for its Caturra variety at the Best of Panama 2015 awards, Kallithea’s Caturra has boasted the highest quality in Panama. Its Geisha coffee is also of high quality, earning a high score of 90+ in the 2019 Balance of Power awards. While many farms have been focusing on diverse processes in recent years, Kallithea’s commitment to a classic process that takes advantage of the natural terroir unique to the highlands has further enhanced its quality and reputation, earning it the highest rating ever at the 2023 Balance of Power awards, with a score of 92.38 points. With its rich aroma reminiscent of the natural beauty of Panama’s Volcano highlands and exquisite flavor, Kallithea is one of Panama’s most notable farms.

ギリシア語で「山上からの美しい眺め」を意味する「カリテア」はバルー火山の麓ボルカンの高地にある農園です。レモンや柑橘の木が自生する熱帯林に囲まれ、ゲイシャやパカマラ、カトゥーラ種を栽培しています。
Best of Panama 2015でカトゥーラ種がTraditional Washed部門で優勝して以来、カリテアのカトゥーラはパナマ随一の品質を誇ります。またゲイシャコーヒーの品質も高く、2019年のBoPでは90+の高得点で上位入賞。近年多くの農園が多様なプロセスに注力している中、高地ならではの天然のテロワールを活かしたクラシカルなプロセスにこだわるカリテア農園では、さらに品質と評価を高め、2023年BOPにて92.38ptの農園歴代最高位での評価を得ました。パナマ、ボルカン高地の大自然を思わせる豊かな香りと、極上の風味によりパナマで最も注目すべき農園の一つです。
