Sharing a common passion for coffee, our associated members are proud to offer a product that reflects their commitment to pursue the pinnacle of world class quality.Janson Farms started in 1926 when Carl Axel Janson left Sweden and came to Panama where he fell in love with the land, nature, and everything Volcán, Chiriquí Province had to offer. Surrounded by forest and weather that reminded him of his home country, he began his legacy importing Brangus cattle.

Later on, moved by his father’s passion, Ricardo (R.I.P), Carl, Peter and Michael Janson took over the business and officially founded Janson Coffee.The Janson Coffee farm is located in Volcan, Chiriqui, and has an average altitude between 1,350 and 1,700 masl. The land combines planting areas with 200 hectares of a private nature reserve, including wetlands, a vital habitat for a large variety of birds and wildlife.
